Order Asset Search
Fee Schedule
Asset search reports are billed at a flat rate of $150 per report regardless of findings, outcome, or whether responsive information is ultimately located. Fees are charged for the research process, time, resources, and analysis performed — not for any guaranteed result or particular outcome. Invoices are due upon results completed and can be paid via ACH, credit/debit, or check.
Payment is due within seven (7) days of your receipt of the completed case — a good-faith grace period to review the invoice and submit payment.
If payment is not received within that seven (7) day period, the invoice is considered overdue. During the following thirty (30) days, you may still remit the original amount without penalty.
If the invoice remains unpaid thirty (30) days after entering overdue status, a late fee of ten percent (10%) of the total is assessed, and continues to accrue monthly on the outstanding balance until paid in full.
Terms & Conditions
Reports are furnished exclusively to authorized attorneys, or to agents acting on behalf of those attorneys, for a permissible purpose under applicable law. All data is sourced, processed, and delivered in strict compliance with the Driver’s Privacy Protection Act (DPPA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Not a Consumer Report: Reports are not “consumer reports” and may not be used to evaluate eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, tenancy, government benefits, or any other FCRA-regulated purpose. Requests for personal, employment, tenant-screening, credit, or insurance purposes will not be accepted.
Access Is Controlled: Reports and their contents are restricted to the authorized attorney and their agents. They may not be forwarded, resold, or disclosed to any third party outside that engagement.
Independent Verification Required: Policy Trace does not guarantee results. Errors, omissions, and inaccuracies, including outdated, sealed, or mismatched records, may occur. Every output must be independently reviewed and verified before it is relied upon; the recipient bears full responsibility for confirming accuracy and sufficiency.
